Grizzly River Run

Grizzly River Run is one of Disney’s California Adventure Park’s many boat rides. It’s basically the same as Kali River Rapids at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, but there are spin-equipped boats that rotate while they plunge chutes.

The ride’s name is taken from Grizzly Peak, the form of rock that the rapids flow around. It was designed by Walt Disney Imagineering and built by Intamin. In 2015, the “Condor Flats” portion of Disney California Adventure was connected with Grizzly Peak to create the Grizzly Peak Airfield.

There are two kinds of individuals in the world: those who like being drenched on water rides, and those who don’t. Nothing compares to getting drenched on a sweltering summer day when taking a stroll around a theme park in squishy wet shoes might not seem like much fun.

If the heat is getting to you at Disneyland California Adventure, consider going over to Grizzly River Run. This river rapids attraction is certain to provide thrills, and if you’re fortunate (or unfortunate), you may get very wet!

Strap yourself into a circular eight-person raft and float down a lazy river past rusted remnants of an old mining firm. Climb to the top of the hill and prepare for an exciting plunge down Grizzly River on a thrilling wild river ride.

Your aim is to paddle, ride, and roll through the shifting water. Make your way down a rocky mountain gorge. Navigate a hazardous steep bedrock slope. After negotiating flooded channels infested with geysers boiling, return to base camp but not before navigating floodwaters overtaken by gushing geysers.

The magnificent grizzly bear is the icon of California, home of towering peaks, enormous trees, and thundering waterfalls.

Look for the distinct bear profile at the peak of the mountain as you head down the glacier. Grizzly Peak was formerly a colossal bear named Oo-soo’-mate, whom A-ha-le the Coyote turned to stone in order to guard and watch over the mountain, according to ancient mythology.

The fantastic big bear’s spirit may be roaring along the river if you listen closely!

On this ride, you will get wet. To dry off after the journey, guests are encouraged to bring a waterproof poncho, an additional pair of clothing, or a towel.

The Grizzly River Run is a river cruise in a part of Orange County. It’s comparable to Disney’s Animal Kingdom’s Kali River Rapids and Shanghai Disneyland’s Roaring Rapids. The name comes from Grizzly Peak, which surrounds the rapids and is also the logo symbol for Disney.
